CDS Anil Chauhan departs for France to strengthen bilateral defence ties
Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan Sunday departed for France on an official visit. The visit is aimed at strengthening the bilateral defense ties between the two countries.
During his visit, General Anil Chauhan is scheduled to meet with the senior civil and military leadership of France.
He will also visit the French Space Command, and the Land Forces Command, and interact with student officers of the Army and Joint Staff Course at Ecole Militaire (School of Military).
The CDS will also pay a visit to a few renowned defense companies in France such as Safran Group, Naval Group, and Dassault Aviation.
As part of his visit, General Anil Chauhan will also lay a wreath at the Neuve Chapelle Memorial and the Indian Memorial at Villers-Guislain to honour the brave Indian soldiers who fought and died during the First World War.
