The contractors are now focusing on the final touches of the interior as the deadline for handover approaches.

Recent images shared on Facebook by Arap Lomutono Paul Media House showed the remarkable progress made in a short period.

The construction, which commenced with a groundbreaking ceremony on Thursday, February 15, is on track to meet the ambitious goal of completion before Kiptum’s burial.

To meet the tight delivery timeline, construction workers have been labouring tirelessly, working around the clock to ensure that every detail aligns with the envisioned design.

The latest photos reveal a spacious, modern interior featuring large windows that allow ample natural light to flood the rooms and elegant floors fitted with mkeka wa mbao (wooden floor).

The bathroom boasts a modern toilet and a floating sink cabinet beneath the washroom sink.

The attention to detail is evident, even without adding furniture and fittings, creating an inviting and comfortable living space.

Simultaneously, efforts are underway to transform the exterior of the house.

Workers are seen spreading concrete across the vast compound, suggesting a meticulous approach to the landscaping and overall aesthetics of the property.

Kiptum’s unfulfilled dream of creating a family home triggered the initiative to construct the house.

His wife, Asenath Rotich, shared that the late athlete had aspirations of building a family house, a vision tragically left unrealised after his untimely death.

President William Ruto’s intervention added a significant impetus to the project, as he ordered that Kiptum’s family and parents be given government-funded houses within a week.
