After defeating the Punjab Kings by 60 runs at Dharamsala, thanks to Virat Kohli’s 47-ball 92, Royal Challengers Bengaluru are still in contention to qualify for the IPL playoffs this season. The win on Thursday evening also boosted RCB’s NRR to +0.217.

But only winning their remaining two games will not suffice for Bengaluru. They really need other results to go their way.

RCB are currently seventh in the IPL 2024 standings with 10 points from 12 matches. Thankfully for them, they play both their games at home.

Gujarat Titans vs Chennai Super Kings: GT need to win, so CSK’s points will stay at 12

Kolkata Knight Riders vs Mumbai Indians: This game will not have too much bearing on RCB’s chances since KKR are assured of a Playoffs spot and Mumbai, who can only reach 12 points, were the first team to be officially eliminated form the IPL 2024 playoffs race.

Chennai Super Kings vs Rajasthan Royals: CSK need to lose to RR so their points stay at 12.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru vs Delhi Capitals: Bengaluru need to win to have 12 points.

Gujarat Titans vs Kolkata Knight Riders: Another game that is likely to have little bearing on RCB’s fate.

Delhi Capitals vs Lucknow Super Giants: Whichever teams wins this one vaults to 14 points, so this will be a game that RCB fans will need to keep a close eye on. They will then need to hope the winner of this game loses their final game of the group stages.

Rajasthan Royals vs Punjab Kings: Another game that is likely to have little bearing on RCB’s fate.

Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Gujarat Titans: If Gujarat can manage to upset SRH, the team from Hyderabad will stay on 14 points.

Mumbai Indians vs Lucknow Super Giants: RCB will hope Mumbai can do them a massive favour by defeating LSG.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru vs Chennai Super Kings: Bengaluru need to win to get to 14 points.

Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Punjab Kings: RCB will hope Punjab can defeat SRH.
