A new spacecraft, Boeing Starliner, scheduled for its first crewed launch for International Space Station on Tuesday with astronauts Butch Wilmore and Indian-origin Sunita Williams, was postponed due to a technical glitch encountered by its rocket, Atlas V.
“Today’s Starliner launch is scrubbed as teams evaluate an oxygen relief valve on the Centaur Stage on the Atlas V. Our astronauts have exited Starliner and will return to crew quarters,” the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) said in a blog post.
