Boeing hits turbulence as whistleblowers address senate hearing

Extraordinary allegations are emerging about the airline manufacturer as Boeing faced back-to-back Senate hearings, the company’s safety culture coming under intense scrutiny as a Boeing engineer gave testimony saying he fears parts of the companies 787 Dreamliner planes could break apart. In midair, I’ll witness severe misalignment when the planes were assembled, Boeing manufacturing used unmeasured and unlimited amount of force. To correct the misalignment, I literally saw people jumping on the pieces of the airplane. To get them to align. The whistleblower going on to claim his concerns were ignored by Boeing and that he was physically threatened by his bosses. Today’s hearing comes as Congress and regulators seek to hold Boeing accountable after a mid air blow out on the Alaska Airlines flight earlier this year. It was followed by a raft of aircraft issues. Boeing planes losing tyres, losing covers, leaking fluid. The Federal Aviation body here in the United States now investigating these latest whistleblower claims as Boeing released a statement. Insisting. Its aircraft are safe.
