Various projects, programs, products, and services of DoST are now discussed point-by-point and in detail through DoSTv’s newest public service radio program “Radyo Siyensya: Sa DoST, konektado ka!” on Radyo Pilipinas every Saturday at 2 p.m. which began on April 20, 2024.

Through Radyo Siyensya’s phone patch and sit-down interview segments, audiences can directly connect with DoST to ask questions about its products and services which are answered by none other than DoST Secretary Renato Solidum Jr., who heads the program together with his co-host Onin Miranda.

Miranda brings timely updates on DoST’s programs and services, from research funding, startup grants, scholarships to business assistance, and more.

Aside from these, the program also highlights Solidum’s take on pressing socioeconomic issues, as well as his commentary on how DoST scientifically deals with the problem.

The pilot episode anchored its discussion on wealth creation, one of the major pillars that supports the majority of DoST programs. It featured talks from job creation, technological intervention, up to regional development through science, technology and innovation.

Through the one-hour weekly radio program, the entire DoST system is one in its mission to bring the benefits of science, technology and innovation with its tagline, #OneDoST4U.
