Blades vs. Warriors series makes WHL history
We made WHL history tonight, I think for six of the seven games going over time. It doesn’t get any closer than that. I I think I said this last time, if these teams were to play 10 series, I bet you there’d be a different winner each time. So I think this definitely did feel like a championship series. What do you think it says about this team that after game five, your face elimination twice and you come out on the other end now playing for WNL title? Yeah, like I said, it’s our punch back and we just, we just don’t give up. We know we can score goals. Doesn’t matter what team we’re playing, if it’s Saskatoon or. You know, any other team, we know we could score a lot of goals, so we don’t get down, no matter if it’s two nothing or 6 nothing. I think our time is now. I think, you know, as a team we were very proud of ourselves. I mean, six games overtime, seven game series kind of could have gone either way and one bad balance kind of our season’s over just like that. So we’re very proud of the way we push back.
