Bill Belichick avoided naming a Patriots' starting QB by repeating the same 8 words to reporters
New England Patriots’ head coach Bill Belichick is pictured prior to the NFL American football match Indianapolis Colts vs New England Patriots at the Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt am Main, western Germany, on November 12, 2023.
Remember “We’re on to Cincinnati”? The line that Bill Belichick repeated over and over back in 2014?
Well, we’ve got the new “We’re on to Cincinnati” thanks to the New England Patriots, who is very deliberately not answering questions about who will be starting at quarterback for his team ahead of the Week 12 matchup against the New York Giants.
His answer? Just eight words that tell you all you need to know … or everything you don’t need to know: “I’ve told everybody to be ready to go.”
I know it matters to some of us, but between Mac Jones or Bailey Zappe … does it matter?
