Bengaluru Traffic Advisory Issued For Brahma Rathotsava From April 17- 19; Check Roads Closed, Alternative Routes

Bengaluru Traffic Advisory: Bengaluru police have implemented traffic arrangements in anticipation of the grand Brahma Rathotsava celebrations organized by the Sri Gali Anjaneya Swamy Temple Trust (R). With a large number of devotees expected to participate in the festivities, the traffic authorities have issued temporary restrictions and alternative routes to minimise congestion and facilitate the movement of vehicles.

Starting from today, April 17 at 10:00 am and continuing until the conclusion of the event, vehicles coming from Kengeri via Mysuru road towards the city can continue to use Mysuru road as usual, without any restrictions.

Bengaluru Traffic Advisory: Road Closed

Vehicles travelling from Majestic and City Market towards Mysuru road are temporarily restricted from entering Hosaguddahalli junction up to KIMCO junction.

Bengaluru Traffic Advisory: Alternative Routes

Vehicles from Majestic and City Market can take a left turn at New Guddadahalli and proceed on Avalahalli main road. From there, they can continue towards Bengaluru One junction, take a left turn at KEB Junction, proceed to PESIT College, and finally, take a left turn at Nayandahalli to join Mysuru road.

Traffic Restriction From April 18-19: Roads Closed

On April 18 from 6 am until April 19, 10 am, additional traffic restrictions will be in place. All vehicles traveling from Mysuru road towards the city will be temporarily prohibited between KIMCO junction and New Guddadahalli junction on both sides.

Furthermore, vehicles from Majestic and City Market heading towards Mysuru road are prohibited from entering Hosaguddahalli junction up to KIMCO junction.

Alternative Routes

Motorists coming from Kengeri via Mysuru road towards the city can take a left turn at Nayandahalli junction and proceed towards Nagarabhavi junction. From there, they can take a right turn and reach Chandra Layout 80ft road junction, joining West of Chord Road. They can then continue to M C Circle and proceed on Magadi road.

For those heading towards Majestic, a right turn at Hunasemara junction via K B Junction will lead them to Khodays Circle, while a right turn at Hunasemara junction towards Binnymill junction will guide them to Sirsi Circle en route to the City Market.
