Earlier this month, Cincinnati Bengals star wide receiver Tee Higgins requested a trade from the team, but it doesn’t sound like the team has any intentions of complying with that request.
During a recent interview at the NFL’s annual league meetings in Florida, Cincinnati Bengals head coach made it very clear that he expects Tee Higgins to be with the team this year, suggesting that the Bengals have no intentions of trading him before the start of the season.
During an interview at the NFL’s annual league meetings this week, Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor made the team’s decision on Tee Higgins quite clear, revealing that he expects Higgins to be a part of the team this year.
“We’re excited for Tee to have a great year for us,” Taylor said according to Kelsey Conway of the Cincinnati Enquirer. “We think he’s our best chance to help us win a Super Bowl. I’ve enjoyed working with Tee the last four years, I expect this year to be no different.”
This is obviously a significant decision from the Bengals, and the NFL world had a lot to say about it on social media.
We’ll have to see how this all plays out.
