Banksy on Instagram
ALBAWABA – Street artist and political activist Banksy recently made headlines after his new artwork in north London, United Kingdom was revealed.
The artwork in question added a touch of greenery in a rather dense city filled with cars and houses everywhere giving it color and a fresh look. According to NPR, the British artist “re-foliates” a severely cut tree by giving it life through a bright green color on the wall behind it.

The idea came because the already messed up tree was sitting in front of a sad-looking white wall that screamed to the artist that it should be painted to give life to the area.

On Monday, Bansky took to his official Instagram account and posted before photos of the work-in-progress artwork garnering more than a million likes with comments such as “Wake up babe, Banksy posted” and “Wha the hell did they do to that poor tree?”
Next to the bright green, a person wearing the same color while holding a spray paint tool was also drawn by Banksy to add to the artwork’s composition and have more eyes on it. The green scribbles resemble the cut-down tree’s leaves which gave it life and color.
The artwork in question was drawn on Sunday but the British artist posted the before and after photos of it on Monday as mentioned above.
