Bade Miyan Chote Miyan Box Office Collection: Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff starrer earns just Rs 2.3 crore in its fourth week
Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and starring Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, and Prithviraj Sukumaran, “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” was highly anticipated. However, it has been struggling at the box office since its release, with collections dropping every week. In its fourth week, the film only managed to collect Rs 2.3 crore, its lowest tally to date.
The film opened during Eid to an underwhelming number of Rs 15.65 crore and in its extended first week it earned Rs 49.9 crore, in second week it collected Rs 8.6 crore and in the third week the number dropped to just Rs 3.9 crore. Moreover, in the fourth week, the film did not even cross the Rs 1 crore mark for even a single day including the weekend and only managed to collect Rs.2.3 crore as per early estimates by tracker Sacnilk. Accordingly, The total collection of the film now stands at Rs 64.70 crore.
The film’s reported budget is Rs 350 crore, out of which a major chunk of money has gone into the salaries of its leading actor. As per a report featured in financial express, Akshay charged around Rs 80 crore, Tiger charged Rs 40 crore, Prithviraj charged Rs 5 crore, while all three actresses – Manushi Chillar, Alaya F and Sonakshi Sinha – charged anywhere between Rs 1 to Rs 2 crore.
The going has been very tough for both the lead actors of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. Both Akshay and Tiger have delivered back to back duds in recent times. While Akshay has a bunch of films in ‘Housefull 5,’ ‘Welcome to the Jungle,’ ‘Sky Force,’ and ‘The Untold Story of C Sankaran Nair,’ lined up, Tiger just has ‘Baaghi 4’ and it is not exactly clear as when will it go on the floors.
