Australians ‘completely against' nuclear construction in their neighbourhood
Redbridge Group Director Kos Samaras says polling found Australians were “completely against” the idea of having a nuclear power plant constructed in their neighbourhood or region.
Polling has been conducted on the Coalition’s nuclear policy by Redbridge Group.
Mr Samaras said the polling was conducted in the Eastern Victorian federal seat of Gippsland.
“Overwhelmingly, the participants within those focus groups were completely against the idea of having a nuclear power plant constructed in their neighbourhood or their region,” Mr Samaras told Sky News Australia.

Redbridge polling last month found 52 per cent of Australians support the country producing ‘next-generation, zero emissions’ nuclear energy.
