President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. arrived Sunday night in Manila after attending the royal wedding of Prince Abdul Mateen of Brunei and Yang Mulia Anisha Rosnah at the Istana Nurul Iman royal palace in Bandar Seri Begawan.
This was according to Presidential Communications Office Secretary Cheloy Garafil.
Garafil said the President arrived at 7 in the evening.
Marcos attended the wedding celebration with First Lady Louise “Liza” Araneta-Marcos.
Mateen is the 10th child of Sultan Bolkiah—the world’s longest reigning monarch and once the richest man on the planet—and is well down the succession pecking order. — Anna Felicia Bajo/RSJ, GMA Integrated News
