Sabah Law Society names new president
KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah Law Society (SLS) has named Mohamed Nazim Maduarin as its newly elected president.
He replaces Datuk Roger Chin, who opted to step aside.
Nazim was the SLS vice president under Chin and was elected uncontested for the 2023-25 term during the SLS annual general meeting held here on Saturday (Nov 25).
Ryan Soo won the post of vice president. At the same time, other office bearers were elected unopposed: Song Wei Wan as secretary, Marianne Ghani as assistant secretary, and Jamadi Salleh as treasurer.
The other committee members elected are Alvin Leong, Adrian Cham, Dominic Ghani, Ann Gilong, Saroja Palaniappan and Natasha Boyou.
Chin remains on the committee as the Immediate Past President.
