Our English teens the drunkest in the world A new survey suggests just that. 280 thousand 1113 and 15 year olds were asked about alcohol use, vaping and smoking. Children aged 11 and 13 in England were more likely to have ever drunk alcohol than in any of the other 44 countries surveyed. 34% of girls and 35% of boys in England said they had drunk alcohol by age 11. By age 13 this rises to 57% of girls and 50% of boys. Across England, Wales and Scotland, young girls seem to be out drinking the boys. And also smoking and vaping more.
