As a Valentine’s Day special, Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi have recreated a scene from the teaser of their upcoming film Thandel, which has gone viral on social media.

Chaitanya and Pallavi are joining hands for the second time for the film Thandel, a romantic story set against the backdrop of a seashore village. The teaser of Thandel hinted that the story is about a Telugu fisherman trapped in a Pakistan prison, while the love of his life awaits his return back home. The teaser ended with a romantic line from the protagonist in his native dialect: ‘My dear, I will come back soon. Smile for me, will you?’

The dialogue from the teaser has been recreated by many fans on Instagram and YouTube, and now the lead couple of the film has created a new version. The video features Chay from his residence and Pallavi from her shoot abroad. However, it is edited seamlessly making it a hit among their fans.

Sharing the video, Naga Chaitanya wrote, “Thrilled with the response for the #thandel glimpse was also heartwarming to see so many of you make your own reels on it…@saipallavi.senthamarai and I decided to make our own 🙂 celebrate love everyday ! Happy Valentine’s Day from Team #thandel”

Thandel marks the second collaboration between Sai Pallavi and Naga Chaitanya, following their acclaimed work in Love Story, directed by Sekhar Kammula.

Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, known for movies like Premam and Savyasachi, the film promises to be an action-packed drama inspired by real-life events within the fishing community.
