Americans have “every right” to be furious as US consumer confidence fell to its lowest level in more than two years, according to The Australian’s Adam Creighton.

The Conference Board said that its consumer confidence index fell to 97.0 this month from 103.1 in March.
Mr Creighton noted how the President is no longer using the “Bidenomics” tagline publicly.
“You can’t blame people for being confused or uncertain about the future,” he told Sky News host James Morrow.
“Things are still pretty bad if you are on a normal income in the US.”
