Alaan, Visa Partner to Propel Cashless Drive in UAE, KSA

UAE’s corporate card solution Alaan has sealed a five-year deal with Visa to digitize expense management processes for businesses in the UAE and KSA.[1]

Leveraging Visa’s payment network, VisaNet, alongside Alaan’s AI-driven spend management system, the alliance seeks to empower businesses with enhanced financial control and visibility.

In addition, Alaan aims to empower companies to efficiently manage their corporate spending, driving efficiency, security, and flexibility.

With over 500 organizations already benefiting from Alaan’s enterprise-grade spend management features, this partnership is poised to fuel further expansion.

By tapping into Visa’s global network, Alaan will offer seamless international payment options. Joint marketing initiatives will also be deployed to accelerate the adoption of advanced spend management solutions across the Middle East.

Established in 2021 by former McKinsey associates Parthi Duraisamy and Karun Kurien, Alaan is a multi-currency spend management platform that enables firms to digitize their business.

Alaan completed its $4.5 million pre-Series A round in 2023 with the support of angel investors, Y Combinator, and Presight Capital. [2]
