We like to use an air fryer for quick-cooking salmon fillets, which provides consistently great results—especially after they’ve been marinated in this yummy miso-and-brown-sugar concoction. Ingredients

MOWI Atlantic Salmon Portion (6 oz.)
- 1 tbsp.
brown sugar
- 1 tsp.
white miso
- 1/2 tsp.
sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp.
rice vinegar
- 1/2 tsp.
soy sauce or tamari
- 1/4 tsp.
ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp.
toasted sesame seeds
Salt and black pepper to taste
Sliced scallions, for garnish
Directions
- Pat salmon dry and place in a shallow bowl; set aside.
- In a small bowl, whisk together brown sugar, miso, sesame oil, rice vinegar, soy sauce, and ginger. Pour mixture over the salmon, turning to coat all sides. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Preheat air fryer to 400˚F and prepare basket by lining with foil. Remove salmon from marinade and transfer, skin-side down, to the foil-lined basket. Cook for 7 to 9 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillet, or until the internal temperature reads 145˚F for medium-well.
- Season with salt and pepper, top with a sprinkling of toasted sesame seeds, and garnish with sliced scallions. Serve with rice or a side salad.
