With over 50 per cent of young people reporting poor mental health, Adrenaline Adventure Therapy has seen an uptick in popularity.

“I took myself out of my comfort zone with the first skydive I ever did and the feeling of bravery and confidence I got was something like I never experienced before,” Adrenaline junkie Bex Harris said.

“It was so exhilarating it was kind of addictive.”

Adrenaline junkie Bex Harris gained confidence after she went skydiving, she said.

Psychologist Dr Eric Brymer says blood-pumping adventures help build confidence.

“People report that they go back into everyday life feeling well if I can do that, I can do other things,” Dr Brymer said.

More than 69 per cent of Aussies say they want to experience more adventure this year, with 33 per cent admitting it would help them break out of a rut, while 37 per cent saying it would help them unwind from daily stresses.
