Anniversary seat sale alert: Philippine Airlines offers flights as low as P83

It’s the Philippine Airlines’ 83rd anniversary, and you know what that means: seat sale!

Starting Feb. 26 until March 3, travelers may book domestic and international flights at slashed fares on its website.

Those who are planning to book ahead can save more, with flights as low as P83 on one-way economy base fare. The travel period is on or after Sept. 1.

Meanwhile, those who wish to travel between April 1 to August 31 can still save at P283 on one-way economy base fares.

For international flights, you can also book ahead and score $79 roundtrip economy base fares. The travel period, however, depends on the destination.

We found some great deals including $175 fares for Manila to Kuala Lumpur flights, $181 for Ho Chi Minh, and $195 for Bali. Manila to Osaka is also cheap at $245.

If you want to book flights abroad and travel between Feb. 26 to June 30, you can score $109 roundtrip economy base fares.

Economy tickets are not refundable, but you can rebook them for a fee. Comfort Class is refundable with a fee of P1,000. Business Class is refundable with a fee of P1,200, both are inclusive of 12% VAT per sector.

The fees are exclusive of government taxes, fees, ticketing service charges, and surcharges. It also includes a 7kg carry-on allowance for both domestic and international flights. Additionally, for international flights, you have a checked baggage allowance ranging from 25kg for Comfort Class and 30kg for Business Class.
