Raiders’ Jack Jones: Jayden Daniels doesn’t want to play for Commanders
Las Vegas Raiders cornerback Jack Jones doesn’t think new Washington Commanders quarterback and former Arizona State teammate, Jayden Daniels, wants to be drafted by the team.
After Daniels was taken by the Commanders with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft, Jones took to Twitter to share his opinion, which was based on the look on Daniels’ face after being selected early in Round 1.
Daniels and the Commanders apparently had a shaky visit leading up to the draft, which created quite the stir, and there were plenty of rumblings that Daniels preferred to play for the Raiders.
I didn’t see anything noticeable on Daniels’ face, but then again I don’t know Daniels like Jones does. You be the judge.
Whatever the case may be, Daniels is now in Washington and the Raiders will have to look elsewhere for their quarterback.
