Amazon to Hire Over 500 Remote Workers in the Philippines

(SPOT.ph) For many Filipinos, the allure of international outsourcing is clear: remote work, decent pay, and the chance to interact with global clientele. If you are in or have been considering this career path, we’ve got good news: Amazon Operation Services Philippines is set to hire more than 500 remote workers in the Philippines.

The catch? You have to be based in Davao City.

Amazon is looking for full-time customer service professionals who can commit to night shifts to align with their global customer service support in the U.S. They are expected to handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a high level of service across Amazon’s product and service range.

How to apply for remote work at Amazon

Interested applicants can apply for remote customer service associate and remote team manager roles at Amazon.jobs. Selected candidates will be invited to Amazon’s Job Fair in Davao City on February 28 (tomorrow!) to learn more about the next steps of the hiring process.

Take note of the eligibility requirements for the roles before applying:

  • must be based in Davao City
  • hold a high school diploma or equivalent
  • possess eligibility to work in the Philippines
  • have a minimum of one year of experience in customer service, preferably in a call center or similar environment
  • be comfortable with working from home full-time
  • have a suitable work-from-home space, including a reliable internet connection with a minimum speed of 50Mbps.

Monthly pay starts at P18,700 for remote customer service associates, with employee benefits like private medical insurance, medical spending account (for unreimbursed medical, dental, vision services and traditional medicine), life insurance, critical illness insurance, disability and personal accident insurance, and annual and sick leaves.
