ABD yönetiminin İsrail’in Gazze’de kullandığı belirtilen yaklaşık 6 bin 500 hassas silah mühimmatının bu ülkeye satışını ertelediği öne sürüldü.

Amerikan Wall Street Journal gazetesinde yer alan habere göre Kongre’nin ocaktan bu yana sevkiyata ilişkin bilgisi olmasına rağmen hükümet, güdümsüz bombaları güdümlü bombalara çeviren yaklaşık 260 milyon dolarlık Müşterek Doğrudan Saldırı Mühimmatı’nın (JDAM) İsrail’e satışını geciktirdi.

Beyaz Saray Ulusal Güvenlik Sözcüsü John Kirby, “İsrail ile güvenlik bağlarımız zırh gibidir” diyerek gecikmeyle ilgili yorum yapmadı.
