Having already enjoyed a magnificent run in its initial 24 days, ‘Aavesham’ achieved a stellar milestone, accumulating an estimated Rs 77.20 Cr net at the Indian box office. Day 25 proved to be no exception to its success story, as it garnered an additional Rs 2.40 crore.
Breaking down its impressive journey, the film grossed Rs 30.45 crore in its debut week, followed by Rs 25 crores in week 2 and Rs 18.7 crore in week 3. Now, with its cumulative Indian box office collections soaring to Rs 79.6 crore, ‘Aavesham’ stands as 2024’s blockbuster film.
Not confined to Indian shores alone, ‘Aavesham’ has also made a significant impact overseas, raking in Rs 52.40 Cr in 25 days. Its combined 25-day India gross collection stands at an impressive Rs 92.60 Cr.
On Sunday, May 5, 2024, ‘Aavesham’ boasted an overall 54.67% Malayalam occupancy, with morning shows recording 39.46%, afternoon shows at 59.77%, evening shows soaring to 64.81%, and night shows maintaining a steady 54.63% attendance.
Starring Fahadh Faasil in the lead, ‘Aavesham’ is the second directorial venture of Jithu Madhavan.
