David Beckham reveals he is 'so proud' of wife Victoria as family share gushing posts after her successful show at Paris Fashion Week

It was a momentous evening for Victoria Beckham as she proudly watched the catwalk show of her latest collection during Paris Fashion Week on Friday evening.

And as the Beckham empire continues to grow, David couldn’t contain his pride for his wife as he took to Instagram to share his love for the fashion designer.

The former footballer gushed that he was ‘so proud’ of Victoria after she failed to let her injury or protestors spoil her big night.

He wrote: ‘So proud of you for many reasons but this season threw a lot at you and again you just did what you do best. we love you @victoriabeckham’.

Victoria touched down in Paris on crutches as a result of a recent gym injury which saw her hurt her ankle.

In a jokey snap, David gave Victoria a piggy-back while holding a bottle of champagne as Victoria thanked him for his support, while making reference to her injury

However she didn’t let it stop her as she was supported by David and her children Brooklyn, 24, Cruz, 19, and Harper, 12.

The family were also joined by Brooklyn’s wife Nicola Peltz, however the pair’s middle son Romeo, 21, was notable absent in the wake of his split from girlfriend Mia Regan.

Victoria also shared a fun snap of the family posing as she wrote: ‘Always there to support me x I love you all so so much!!’

As she thanked her family for being there, she admitted she was missing her other son as she noted Romeo’s absence.

Meanwhile the show wasn’t all smooth sailing as activists caused chaos as they took to the the catwalk while waving placards which read ‘viva vegan leather’ and ‘animals are not fabric’.

VB is known to incorporate leather into her brand’s clothes and accessories, including Nappa leather (made from lambs) and shiny calf leather bags costing upwards of £2K.

The show’s live stream was also interrupted and the model were later filmed for a second strut down the runway after the protesters had been removed by security.

Victoria was greeted to applause as she made an appearance ahead of the show, cutting an incredibly chic figure in a black sleeveless top and wide-legged trousers.

While David cut a suave figure for his wife’s big night in a beige double-breasted blazer that he layered over a stylish polar neck sweater.

Harper followed in her mother’s stylish footsteps in a black maxi dress which she teamed with a pair of chunky white trainers.

Actress Nicola was rumoured to have been walking in the show after she was spotted at a fitting with Victoria in the French capital this week.

However, Nicola was seen with Brooklyn was seen shortly before the show started on Friday evening as they later sat together in the front row.

American star Nicola, who married Brooklyn in 2022, put on a leggy display as she wore a bright red mini dress.

The garment finished high above her knee and was cinched in at the waist to accentuate her hourglass figure.

She wore a pair of white fishnet stockings and some towering plush pink platform heels.

Nicola was seen carrying a black clutch purse as she walked closely alongside Brooklyn.

Aspiring chef Brooklyn wore a black jacket over a beige top, which he teamed with a pair of baggy trousers to match his jacket.

He wore a pair of chunky black shoes and carried a white bag with him.

Cruz also looked sharp in a pinstripe suit as he channelled the 1940s in the navy blue retro suit which came complete with thick beige braces.

Keeping his look fresh, he paired his dapper look with a crisp white shirt and a long, chunky red tie.

In keeping with his look, Cruz paired his ensemble with a pair of Christian Louboutin Zazou Flat Tie Oxford Brogues.
