Police have said a 53 year old woman from the Melbourne suburb of Ringwood N fell I’ll after consuming a drink at Soul Barn where it is just behind me where I am in the town of Clones. Now the ABC understands CPR was performed by locals on this woman and paramedics arrived a short time later but sadly she could not be saved and died at the site. Two other people were taken to Ballarat based hospital but were released a short time after that. Now police remain tight lipped James on exactly what they believe this drink contained. They say that. Investigations are very much in the early stages and the exact cause of the woman’s death is yet to be determined. They’re currently investigating and preparing a report for the coroner. It’s just behind me, Sol Barn. It bills itself as a well-being, a creative, well-being centre in the town of Coons that regularly offers workshops and retreats to the community and the owner herself regularly posts to Sol Barnes Social Media pages, but in recent days has remained very quiet. So the last we heard of her was on Sunday afternoon when she announced an event had been cancelled. But as you can imagine, the town of Clones, which is only home to around 1700 people, has been left absolutely reeling as a result of this death. Take a listen to what some of the locals had to say to us. Oh, I think it’s horrible. I mean, it’s pretty tragic Way to go. You think you’re eating healthy with that sort of thing. But yeah, I just felt so sorry for Michelle. Firstly, who owns the business. It’s tough, you know it’s. A great little business, and it’s just an awful thing to happen to her. Now James, this latest death comes just days after the tragic passing of 23 year old Coons woman Hannah McGuire. Her body was found in a burnt out car near Scarsdale on April 5th and following that discovery police have laid a charge against her former partner alleging that he murdered her. So a very tough time for this community and as a result of Miss Maguire’s death a range of resources have been stood up. So anyone who is needing support is urged to reach out and further information can be found on the Hepburn Shire Council’s website.
