9000% dividend, 4:1 bonus issue – nse’s massive reward for shareholders – check full details

NSE Dividend announcement: The board of directors of NSE, on Friday, recommended a massive 9000 per cent dividend to its shareholders. In an exchange filing, the NSE also approved the issue of bonus shares in the ratio of 4:1. The Rs 90 dividend per equity share will be paid to all the shareholders holding the shares of NSE on the Record Date. The Record Date for NSE Dividend 2024, the Payout Date for NSE Dividend 2024 and the Record Date for NSE Bonus Issue will be decided at a later date when the schemes are approved

“Recommended a final dividend of 9000% i.e. Rs. 90/- per equity share of Re.1/- each, fully paid up, for the financial year ended March 31, 2024. The final dividend, if approved, by Shareholders at the ensuing AGM, will be paid to the eligible shareholders on or before the 30th day from the date of the Annual General Meeting. For the purpose of dividend, the paid-up share capital prior to the issue of Bonus Shares would be considered,” NSE said in an exchange filing.

NSE Bonus issue approved

Besides the dividend, the NSE board of directors also approved the issue of bonus shares by way of capitalisation of reserves. With this, the shareholders of NSE will be issued four new shares of face value of Rs 1, for every share of NSE held by them.

“Approved Issue of Bonus Shares by way of capitalization of reserves, to the equity shareholders of the Company in the ratio of 4:1 i.e., 4 (Four) new fully paid-up Equity Shares of Re. 1/- (Rupee One only) each for every 1 (One) existing fully paid-up Equity Share of Re. 1/- (Rupee One only) each held by the eligible shareholders as on the Record Date (to be determined by the Board) subject to the approval of the shareholders of the Company,” NSE told the bourses.
