Pokemon Fan Designs Paradox Form for Gyarados

One creative fan artist from the Pokemon community shares their design of a Paradox variant of Gyarados inspired by various ancient Paradox Pokemon.

Artist Gives Older Pokemon a New Spin

A Reddit user named Homem_da_Carrinha posted art of the Pokemon Lugia and Ho-Oh that they made. The pieces are the artist’s take on Past Paradox forms for the two pocket monsters, which look like prehistoric creatures in the artwork. Homem_da_Carrinha changed the Typing for the two Pokemon, making Paradox Lugia into a Psychic/Water-Type and Ho-Oh into a Fire/Ground-Type. They also gave them new names, with Lugia taking on the title Argentic Sail and Ho-Oh becoming Aureate Fan. Homem_da_Carrinha provided Shiny variations for the two pocket monsters that take inspiration from the actual color variations of the originals. The two new forms for Lugia and Ho-Oh are interesting takes that do a good job of imagining what the duo would look like if they were from prehistoric times.

The artwork that Homem_da_Carrinha posted has been gaining a number of admirers, showing that fans of the Pokemon series are really enjoying these variants of the Legendary pocket monsters. One commenter stated that they need the artist’s rendition of Lugia, while another said that Ho-Oh has been turned into a chicken and that they like it. One gamer mentioned that they love the design that was given to Lugia, and while they thought the Paradox form of Ho-Oh was good, it was just not working for them personally. Homem_da_Carrinha’s art helps show that there are a lot of possibilities when it comes to giving existing Pokemon new forms, helping players look at their favorite critters in new ways.
