2024 NFL mock draft roundup: Where is Georgia TE Brock Bowers predicted to go?

The 2024 NFL Draft begins in just over a week. Next Thursday, 32 former college players will find new homes in the NFL with 225 others finding out those landing spots on Friday and Saturday.

Georgia tight end Brock Bowers will surely be one of those first 32 players selected, if not one of the first ten. NFL scouts and analysts have dubbed Bowers one of the best tight end prospects of recent years behind only current Atlanta Falcon Kyle Pitts – the fourth overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.

Brock Bowers 2024 NFL draft predictions

Michael Middlehurst-Schwartz, USA TODAY: Indianapolis Colts – No. 15 overall pick

Middlehurst-Schwartz writes, “The two-time Mackey Award winner’s range seems to begin at No. 10. If he gets past that point, however, it’s hard to pinpoint an exact landing spot in the middle of the first round. Indianapolis, however, would have to take a long look at Bowers, who could significantly ease Anthony Richardson’s learning curve.”

Peter Schrager, NFL Network: New York Jets – No. 10 overall pick

Schrager writes, “I’ve been told by multiple general managers that I’m not high enough on Bowers and that his ability after the catch sets him apart from just about every tight end prospect since Kyle Pitts.”

Field Yates, ESPN: Denver Broncos – No. 12 overall pick

Yates writes, “Bowers is a special prospect. He would instantly upgrade the entire passing game, no matter who is throwing the ball.”

Josh Edwards, CBS Sports: New York Jets – No. 10 overall pick

Edwards writes, “I could still see them taking a tackle with guard flexibility but also understand that they are pushing all of their chips into the middle in a small window with Aaron Rodgers. Bowers may have a bigger impact on the upcoming season than Taliese Fuaga or any other offensive lineman they would select here.”

Sam Monson, Pro Football Focus: New York Jets – No. 10 overall pick

Monson writes, “The Jets are working on the basis that this year is everything for them as Aaron Rodgers returns to the fold. They are looking for Day 1 impact players, and that means Bowers is likely the selection over an offensive lineman or a defender.”
