2024 NFL Draft power rankings: Offensive linemen

1. Joe Alt, Notre Dame (-350)

Alt made 33 straight starts for the Fighting Irish over three season and enters the draft as one of the class’s most experienced linemen. Paired with his massive, 6-foot-9 frame and functional strength and athleticism, it’s easy to see why the Minnesota native is such a big favorite to be the first lineman off the board.

2. J.C. Latham, Alabama (+200)

In his last two seasons at Alabama, Latham allowed just two sacks in 26 starts. As a right tackle, he could be taken at the No. 5 overall pick to pair with Pro Bowl left tackle Rashawn Slater on the Los Angeles Chargers. He’s currently listed as the favorite to come off of the board in that spot and very well could be the pick, assuming the Chargers don’t trade back.

T-3. Taliese Fuaga, Oregon State; Olumuyiwa Fashanu, Penn State (+5000)

Fuaga, also a right tackle, is an overwhelming force in the run game and a rock-solid wall in pass protection. He’s an excellent option for teams looking for an enforcer on the right side of the O-line.

Fashanu as an excellent pass blocker in his own right. A left tackle, he has some room for development but sky-high potential if he can reach it with some honing of his tools.

5. Troy Fautanu, Washington (+8000)

The former Washington Husky has the versatility and experience to start at either tackle or guard at the pro level. Fautanu can bully opponents with excellent pop in his hands and maintains good footwork to mitigate his opponents’ dangerous pass-rush attempts.

6. Amarius Mims, Georgia (-350)

Mims is a longshot here thanks to his eight career collegiate starts. However, he has outstanding potential thanks to his size (6 feet, 8 inches, 340 pounds) and length (36 1/8-inch arms). He showed enough promise in limited reps at Georgia that he’s still a near-lock to be a first-round pick. With some extra development and experience, he’ll have a chance to reach his incredibly high ceiling.
