Donald Trump, 77, confuses Biden with Barack Obama AGAIN at Virginia rally - marking the third time he's made the same gaffe in the last six months

  • Donald Trump has confused Biden with Obama again
  • This is the third time the 77-year-old has made this mistake in less than six months
  • He made the silly error at a rally in Virginia, telling crowds, ‘Putin has so little respect for Obama’

Donald Trump has confused Joe Biden for Barack Obama for the third time in less than six months at a rally in Virginia.

The mistake came as Trump was addressing a crowd of thousands of supporters at the Greater Richmond Convention Center on Saturday morning.

He was urging voters to show up at the polls to vote for him, despite his double loss in the blue-trending state in 2016 and 2020.

When discussing his Democrat opponent, he attempted to take a blow at Biden for not having the respect of Putin  – but missed the punchline by mixing up his presidents.

‘Putin has so little respect for Obama that he’s starting to throw around the nuclear word,’ Trump rambled at the rally.

‘You heard that, nuclear. He’s starting to talk nuclear weapons today,’ he continued.

Trump then went on to describe Biden as a ‘fool,’ ‘We have a fool, a fool as a president,’ the former president said.

Trump made the same blunder just a month ago during an appearance on Fox News.

While the former President incoherently rambled about ‘being the president’ and ‘immunity’ to host Sean Hannity, he made an Obama reference that didn’t quite fit… because who he was actually talking about was Biden.

‘If the president of the United States, and I’m not talking about myself, I’m talking about any president, has to have immunity, because if you take immunity away from the president, so important, you will have you have a president that’s not going to be able to do anything,’ Trump ranted.

He then added: ‘Because when he leaves office, the opposing party, president, if it’s the opposing party, will indict the president for doing something that should have been good.

‘Like Obama dropped missiles and they ended up hitting a kindergarten or school or the apartment house, a lot of people were killed,’ the confused 77-year-old said.

‘Well, if that’s the case, he’s going to end up being indicted when he leaves office. He meant well, the missile went in the wrong direction and other things,’ he said – referring to Obama as if he were the current President.

Trump made the same silly mistake again in November – when he told a New Hampshire rally that Barack Obama is president, despite constantly nicknaming his rival ‘Sleepy Joe.’

Trump gave a speech in Claremont, New Hampshire, where he said the Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban called on ‘President Obama’ to resign and be ‘replaced by Trump.’

Trump told the crowds: ‘The head of Hungary Viktor Orban, very powerful within his country and outside of his country, they were interviewing him two weeks ago and said what would advise President Obama?

‘The whole world seems to be exploding and imploding. He said, “It’s very simple, he should immediately resign and replace him with President Trump who kept the world safe.”‘

Donald Trump beat rival Nikki Haley to win Republican caucuses in Idaho, Michigan and Missouri on Saturday

Today’s error comes amidst Trump’s success, as he has now cruised past rival Nikki Haley to win Republican primaries and caucuses in Idaho, Michigan and Missouri.

The networks called Idaho for the former president shortly after 7 pm. Now, with 90 percent of the vote counted, he leads Nikki Haley by 85 points to her 13.

The win notches up another 32 delegates for Trump ahead of the Republican’s national convention in July.

In Michigan, Trump trounced Haley in all 13 districts taking part in the nominating caucuses, securing 98 percent of support overall according to the GOP. It was the second part of the state’s nominating process.

The two contests add to an earlier win in Missouri, where the race was called at 11:40 am, less than two hours after the gatherings began.

The victories brought Trump’s total delegates as of Saturday to 247, more than doubling the count he had heading into the weekend.
