The Friends for Cultural Concerns of the Philippines (FCCP) gathered around 500 attendees for an evening filled with delightful melodies and a spirit of philanthropy at their eagerly awaited fundraising affair, “Live! Laugh! Love!”

The stage was set for a musical extravaganza headlined by the singer-actress, Mitch Valdes, who captivated the audience with her mesmerizing voice and humor. Alongside Mitch Valdes, the stage saw remarkable performances by the AMP Band, Athena Macatangay (soprano) and Jay Mangui (tenor), who are both scholars of the FCCP, the harmonious voices of Choir of The World, Kammerchor Manila, Baritone, Kris Gonzales (son of current president, Noel Gonzales) and soprano, Natassia Valerio (granddaughter of former president Mimi Valerio) and the enchanting melodies of the Marcy David Band.
The highlight of the evening was the unwavering support shown for FCCP’s scholars. Through the generosity of patrons and art enthusiasts, over P2 million was raised through the auctioning of exquisite paintings and art objects. It was a testament to the belief in the transformative power of education and the arts.
The FCCP fundraiser’s success was propelled by a committed trio: FCCP president Noel Gonzales, FCCP board director David Ackerman and FCCP event chair Mache Torres. Notably, emcee Tim Yap played a pivotal role during the auction.
Their tireless efforts and visionary leadership paved the way for an evening that transcended boundaries and made a tangible impact on the lives of aspiring scholars.
