This Eid Al Fitr saw the return of Abu Dhabi’s hugely popular DAZ Festival, which took over Al Ain Zoo for a special 2024 edition. And if you haven’t been able to get down there yet, the good news is that there are a few days left for you to soak up the family-themed fun.
Running up until Sunday, April 21 – the festival offers a dazzling blend of experiences combining themes and activities that include music, food, entertainment, games, nature, carnival rides, treats, a petting zoo, giant maze and so much more.

Entrance is just Dhs35 for adults
Yes, tickets for this year’s DAZ festival start at just Dhs35 which represents incredible value. This general admission package includes all-day access to all general zones and attractions, as well as Al Ain Zoo, where the festival is being held this year. Or you can opt for the DAZ Pass which unlocks access to premium rides and activities for Dhs115.
The concerts
And it wouldn’t be DAZ festival without a few musical spectaculars taking place. The final show this year will feature the combined talents of Nassif Zeitoun and Mohamed Al Shehhi, taking place on April 20, at what were sure will be a night to remember.

Food adventures
Prepare your taste buds for an international culinary safari with palate-pleasing all-stars such as Black Bean Burger – which has been described as offering ‘The Best Burger in London’; also making the trip from the UK, is the anmal-themed pancake master of Boolay Crepes; elsewhere you’ll find more delectable desserts, and some firm local food favourites.
Life is a carnival
Bring the whole family for a day of excitement with zip lines, a giant slide, a hay maze, a climbing wall, and the thrilling DAZ Obstacle Course, alongside classic carnival rides.
Take a walk on the wild side
With it being held in a zoo, there are a multitude of opportunities to make memories and get right up close to the furry face of nature.
See stars under the stars
There’s a packed schedule of family-friendly movies being shown under the stars each evening.
The show must go on
As part of the dizzying climax to the event, Ninja Kidz will take over DAZ for a two-day extravaganza on April 20 and 21. With breathtaking acrobatics and incredible ninja moves – the show is primed to karate chop boredom and serve up even more fun for the entire family.
