Nyandeni clinched the top scorer award, Majiya earned the young player of the season title, Rabale was crowned player of the season, and Moletsane received the goalkeeper of the season accolade.

Prior to their departure from OR Tambo International Airport on Saturday, Moletsane shared with SABC Sport that the trip represented an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

”Going into this trip, it is a good opportunity for us as young girls. To experience different cultures, different football, in a different environment because our development structure is an upcoming one.’’

“Now we’re going abroad to experience more, so it will also help me to improve where I lack and see how I can improve going forward. It is really a good opportunity for me,” Moletsane told SABC Sport.

Moletsane has actively participated in several Banyana Banyana camps, relishing the valuable experience and gaining insights from the goalkeeping department within the senior national team.

”Well, it’s a good environment, we are different girls coming together – we get to learn everyday and get to improve. It is really a good place to be at, but we still have to keep up the momentum and be at the best level.”

”It is challenging but the competition is very healthy because we always push ourselves, and push each other to do better everyday – the support is amazing” added Moletsane.

During the Super League hiatus, Moletsane anticipates the unforeseen challenges of the upcoming season and remains optimistic that her team will strive to push their limits.

”It’s a new season, but I can’t say much because we haven’t got to see what we have on the table, so we can just expect the unexpected and see what the league has to offer.”

”I mean from last season there was high competition, so we can expect anything from any team. But we also have to challenge ourselves to do better than last season,” concluded Moletsane.
