Napa Valley winery owner claims Fani Willis DID pay $400 cash for two hours of tasting with her prosecutor lover Nathan Wade

Fulton County DA paid cash on the barrel at a Napa Valley winery when she joined the prosecutor she was dating on one of multiple trips, forking over $400 during a tasting early last year.

She paid the tab in cash after she and special prosecutor Nathan Wade bought two $150 bottles of wine and paid $50 for a tasting, an ‘estate ambassador’ for Acumen wines told CNN. She drew the greenbacks from her purse at the end of the pair’s visit.

As unusual as it might sound in a day when Apple Pay, Veno, Cash App, and old fashioned credit cards are the coin of the realm, the cash payment helps support testimony by the embattled DA that she always traveled with cash and stashed thousands in a home safe.

In bombshell testimony last week at a hearing on whether she should be disqualified from the Donald Trump case in Georgia, Willis said she kept as much as $15,000 in her home. She said she sometimes used the cash to pay back Wade during four trips they were revealed to have taken together in a court filing that first alleged they had a ‘personal relationship’ that neither disclosed to the office.

‘When I travel, I always take cash,’ she said, in an appearance where she sparred with defense lawyers and confirmed a ‘physical’ relationship with Wade.

Her father, John Floyd III, backed up his daughter in his own testimony, saying he himself ‘always kept cash’ and that ‘I’ve I’ve told my daughter you keep six months of cash, always.’

And Willis denied any financial benefit from the relationship or conflict of interest over luxury trips she said the couple took together. She said she once reimbursed Wade $2,500 for her share of a trip and cruise they took.

‘I don’t need anybody to foot my bills. The only man who’s ever foot my bills completely is my daddy,’ she said during her fiery testimony.

The claims came as defense lawyers tried to persuade a judge that Willis received an improper benefit from her relationship with Wade, which she furiously denied.

Stan Brody, the estate ambassador who assisted the low key couple on their California getaway, said last week’s blockbuster hearings featuring Willis’ defiant testimony jogged his memory about the encounter.

‘I ran(g) up the thing and I showed her. I was expecting a credit card quite frankly,’ he told the network. ‘And she says I’ll pay cash. And so that was that. So then I just put the cash in, made change for her and she was very generous to me.’

Willis and Wade also traveled to Aruba and Belize, and said they would either split expenses or take turns with meals, rides, and other costs.

Based on the ‘tasting experience’ listed on the downtown Napa winery’s site, the pair might have gone for the the lower priced ‘Mountainside Flight’ option, which goes for $50.

News of the ‘personal’ relationship emerged after lawyer Ashleigh Merchant, who represents a Donald Trump defendant in the alleged election interference racketeering scheme, revealed details in a court filing asking for the DA to be disqualified from the case.

Trump, who faces his own cash crunch after a New York judge ordered him to pay $355 million after his fraud trial, has questioned Willis’ claims. Trump wrote last week: ‘Does anybody really believe that Fani Willis paid cash to her “lover” whenever they took expensive “trips” together. Really? Where did she get the CASH? Pretty weak questioning yesterday!!! I guess they don’t want to insult her,’ he posted on his Truth Social site.
