Mercedes-Benz has recalled around 250,000 vehicles worldwide, as confirmed by a company spokesman on Tuesday.

The affected models, including the AMG GT, C-Class, CLE, E-Class, EQE, EQS, GLC, S-Class, and SL from the 2023 model year, were listed in the database of the German Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA).

The recall is due to certain fuses not meeting requirements, posing risks such as engine failure and potential fires, according to the KBA. To address the issue, affected parts will be replaced at no cost, with repair times expected to last a few hours.
