ΗΠΑ: Πέρασε το ψήφισμα για πακέτο-ανάσα στην Ουκρανία

Η Βουλή των Αντιπροσώπων ψήφισε υπέρ της παροχής στρατιωτικής βοήθειας ύψους 61 δισ. δολαρίων στην Ουκρανία .

Πρόκειται για μία κομβική στιγμή για την Ουκρανία, η οποία είχε τονίσει πως χρειάζεται απεγνωσμένα τη στρατιωτική βοήθεια για να αντιμετωπίσει τη Ρω σία.

Η Γερουσία αναμένεται να εγκρίνει το μέτρο τις επόμενες ημέρες, προτού υπογραφεί σε νόμο από τον Πρόεδρο Μπάιντεν.

Αξιωματούχοι είπαν σε αμερικανικά μέσα ενημέρωσης ότι ορισμένα από τα πυρομαχικά θα μπορούσαν να φτάσουν στο Κίεβο εντός μιας εβδομάδας.

Στην αίθουσα άρχισαν να κυματίζουν σημαίες της Ουκρανίας, με τους υποστηρικτές των μέτρων να επευφημούν και να χειροκροτούν ακόμη και πριν ανακοινωθεί επίσημα το αποτέλεσμα, όταν έγινε σαφές ότι το πακέτο βοήθειας για την Ουκρανία είχε τελικά εγκριθεί.
