Zug mit schmeichelhaftem Sieg beim Aufbaugegner

Der EV Zug verhindert gegen einen seiner Lieblingsgegner eine vierte Niederlage in Serie. In Langnau gewinnt der Meister ohne zu brillieren 2:1.

Am Ende war es die Klasse von Carl Klingberg, die den Unterschied machte. Das schwedische Kraftpaket zog in der 38. Minute aus halber Distanz kurz und trocken ab und erwischte damit den sonst starken SCL-Goalie Robert Mayer unter der Latte. Es blieb bis zum Ende der entscheidende Treffer.

Die SCL Tigers müssen sich wegen einer eklatanten Heimschwäche langsam Sorgen machen. Aus fünf Heimspielen haben sie in dieser Saison keinen Sieg und nur gerade einen Punkt geholt. Dabei spielten sie beileibe nicht schlecht und hatten durchaus Chancen auf Zählbares.

Nolan Diem sündigte gleich zweimal in aussichtsreichster Position, auch Alexandre Grenier hatte im Schlussdrittel eine gute Möglichkeit zum Ausgleich. Schliesslich scheiterte knapp fünf Minuten vor Schluss auch noch der PostFinance-Topskorer Jesper Olofsson mit einem Penalty am souveränen Zuger Keeper Leonardo Genoni.

So blieb es für das Team von Jason O’Leary bei dem einen Tor nach bereits viereinhalb Minuten durch das erste, dafür wunderbar herausgespielte Saisontor von Yannick Blaser. Im Mitteldrittel wendete dann Klingberg durch seinen Doppelschlag das Blatt.

Trotz Sparflamme kam Zug so zum ersten Sieg nach drei Niederlagen – und zum neunten in den letzten zehn Spielen gegen die Tigers.
