Zahl der ausreisewilligen Ortskräfte in Afghanistan ist noch immer unklar

Gut drei Wochen nach dem Ende der Evakuierungsaktion der Bundeswehr in Afghanistan hat die Bundesregierung keine genauen Erkenntnisse darüber, wie viele ihrer ehemaligen afghanischen Mitarbeiter das Land noch verlassen wollen.

„Die genaue Zahl wird derzeit von der Bundesregierung eruiert“, heißt es in einer Antwort des Auswärtigen Amts auf eine Anfrage der Grünen im Bundestag, die der Deutschen Presse-Agentur vorliegt.

Darin weist die Bundesregierung auch erneut Vorwürfe zurück, sie habe die Evakuierung der Ortskräfte verschleppt: „Die Bundesregierung war stets von dem Ziel getragen, ihrer besonderen Verantwortung gegenüber den Ortskräften zu jedem Zeitpunkt nachzukommen.“

„Auf ganzer Linie versagt“

Die Grünen-Fraktion hatte der Bundesregierung einen Katalog mit 114 Fragen übermittelt, die nun auf mehr als 30 Seiten beantwortet worden sind. Die stellvertretende Fraktionsvorsitzende Agnieszka Brugger und der Außenpolitiker Omid Nouripour zeigten sich unzufrieden mit den Antworten.

„Die Bundesregierung duckt sich weg und besitzt kein echtes Interesse an einer lückenlosen Aufarbeitung ihres katastrophalen Versagens“, erklärten sie und forderten erneut die Einsetzung eines parlamentarischen Untersuchungsausschusses nach der Bundestagswahl. Bei der Evakuierung von Ortskräften und weiterer bedrohter Afghanen habe die Bundesregierung „auf ganzer Linie versagt“.

Seit Beginn der Evakuierungsaktion nach der Machtübernahme der militant-islamistischen Taliban Mitte August haben nach den jüngsten Angaben der Bundesregierung 272 Ortskräfte mit insgesamt 992 Familienangehörigen das Land verlassen.
