Eating one dozen eggs per week is not a big amount. In the past it was prohibited eating eggs daily, due to the past belief that eggs could increase cholesterol. Today the science shows that eggs are safe to be eaten daily without problems.

Eating a dozen eggs a week is fine. Current recommendations suggest eating one egg per day. In the case of a person who plays sports and does not have kidney problems, consuming twelve eggs per week is not a problem.
