Adult star Emily Willis' family give update on her condition since waking from 'vegetative coma'

Emily Willis' family has provided another update on her condition since her cardiac arrest two months ago.

In the GoFundMe account, Emily’s sibling wrote that she has "responsiveness" to some degree since waking up from her "vegetative coma." Emily suffered a cardiac arrest in March at a rehab centre. The adult entertainer' s family set up the account to support Emily's recovery and cover her medical bills.

Her sibling updated that "Emily is showing some signs of responsiveness like eye tracking but is still unable to communicate." The family is also working with the hospitals to try and move the former adult film actress closer to her home state so her loved ones can be around more especially "during this period of healing." They listed some things loved ones can do which is "provide stimulus by talking to her, reminiscing about all the fantastic memories, playing her favorite music, photos, and more."

They go on to acknowledge that while they have not been able to switch hospitals, the location Emily’s in "provides great rehabilitation, care, and stimulus for her well being." Additionally, the sibling expressed their gratitude for all the donators going above the donation goal ($76,005) as well as the love and care they’ve shown Emily. In the end of the post, they promised to update on the Argentinian native’s recovery and asked for patience during this "difficult part of the state she’s in."

This recent update comes after an update in late March Emily’s stepfather Michael Willis gave TMZ. He told the outlet that Emily is still in a vegetative state but there have been improvement such as her being awake, being able to track things with her eyes and smile. He also said she becomes emotion during conversations. Her stepfather mentioned that the doctors aren't expecting any further improvements then what has been achieved at that point. Nor, have the doctors figured out the cause of her cardiac arrest since an early toxicology report determined there were no drugs in her system.

When Emily's hospitalision was first reported, it was alleged she had a cardiac arrest due to a drug overdose. In their March 7 GoFundMe update, Emily's family clarified that drug overdose aspect was not true but Emily was receiving treatment at the time to conquer her "struggles." They also mentioned that Emily had retired from the adult industry almost two years ago and had dreams of success in other parts of entertainment. They added "those who worked with her in her new career path knew she had the potential to achieve her dreams."
