Linda Evangelista, 58, shares rare childhood photo with her 'stick legs'... taken before she became a supermodel in the late 1980s

Linda Evangelista shared a rare photo of herself while growing up in Canada.

The 58-year-old Vogue supermodel had on no makeup as she was dressed casually in a T-shirt and shorts that highlighted her long legs.

The 5ft10in star was in her father's garden in her native Canada.

It was a Father's Day post as she talked about her dad's love for gardening.

'My father’s pride and joy was his garden. I’m pretty sure he was proud of my “tomato stick” legs as he called them and for sure my nose which I inherited from him,' her caption began.

'He had the most insane green thumb. Here examples of his basil and figs he managed to grow in Canada... All these memories will forever bring me joy. Happy Father’s Day to all those celebrating. ♥️ '

Her pals Christy Turlington and Carolyn Murphy hit the like button.

This comes after Evangelista sensationally revealed in 2021 that she had been left 'permanently deformed' following rare side effect to cosmetic procedure.

Linda has resurfaced recently after only being seen a few times since undergoing a fat-freezing procedure back in 2016.

In April she reunited with her fellow supermodels Christy Turlington, Cindy Crawford and Naomi Campbell for a screening of the Apple TV series The Super Models.

The four-part documentary charted the rise of four of the biggest '90s supermodels who came to dominate the modelling world.

This comes after she wowed in an all-white outfit while attending the star-studded 2024 Met Gala in New York City for the first time in nearly a decade.

The model wore a set from Khaite that included a sleeveless white top with heavy draping along with a matching white skirt with thick pleats upon arrival at The Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute benefit gala.

The last time she was seen at the Met Gala was back in 2015.

However, she appeared to be back to her supermodel best, wearing white gloves that covered her biceps and completed her look with white open-toed heels.

In the old photo, Linda is holding up her father's tomatoes in her backyard

Linda had her short dark brown down in tight waves and added a pop of color with dangling green earrings by designer Ana Khouri.

She accentuated her natural beauty with just a hint of makeup including pink lipstick.

'It's so dreamy and light - it's light like a cloud,' Linda told Vogue about her outfit. 'I feel so comfortable in it, and I'm really, really, really happy.'

Linda's appearance at fashion's biggest night was her first in nearly a decade. She last attended the Met Gala in 2015, which had a theme of China: Through the Looking Glass.

Linda wore a red Moschino gown with a large black bow in a nod to the 2015 gala's theme.

This year the event is titled Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion while the dress code is The Garden of Time.

Jennifer Lopez, Zendaya, Bad Bunny and Chris Hemsworth served as this year's co-chairs. Also on the committee is Vogue's Anna Wintour who again was the host.

The honorary chairs for the evening are Loewe creative director Jonathan Anderson and TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew.

'This year's co-chairs reflect a variety of career achievements, and all have distinct style histories with the Met Gala,' Vogue shared.
