Diablo 4 developers are aware of an issue affecting players and have addressed the bug in the game's latest patch. The bug caused players' mounts to disappear randomly and first popped up following Diablo 4's 1.4.2 update earlier this week.
While the Diablo franchise is now several decades old, Blizzard managed to usher in a new era for the action RPG series with Diablo 4. This fourth mainline installment in the series was released in 2023 and shook things up considerably within the Diablo community, both in good ways and bad. Many criticized the game's itemization and monetization levels, with some players being put off Diablo 4 entirely. However, Diablo 4 also packs a considerable punch in terms of content and story, featuring one of Blizzard's most satisfyingly evil and horrifying villains, Lilith. Players have the choice of five unique classes to play as in Diablo 4, though the game's upcoming expansion seeks to change this. However, players were more focused on a troubling bug in the game that has finally been addressed by Diablo 4 developers directly.

Following Diablo 4's 1.4.2 patch on June 9, players started to notice problems with their mounts. While traversing on foot is a valid option, for most, mounts make the world of Diablo 4 much easier to navigate. Developers have been made aware of these issues, with Diablo 4 Community Manager Adam Fletcher assuring players a fix was in the works.

The fix in question is now live in Diablo 4, solving the problems players were having regarding their mounts. This pet is unlocked by completing the new Faithful Companion quest found in Kyovashad.
In other Diablo news, players are eagerly anticipating Diablo 4's first official expansion, Vessel of Hatred, which releases on October 9. This expansion will significantly change things for fans of the series, introducing a brand-new class called "Spiritborn." The new expansion is being bundled with the Diablo 4 base game and is also being sold in a Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate edition, each featuring a number of exclusive in-game items like in-game currency and items. Xbox Game Pass subscribers can enjoy Diablo 4 in its entirety, practically ensuring the game's upcoming expansion makes a big splash later this year.
