College Football 2024 All-America Team
The 2024 college football season is slated to start in late August, and with the Athlon Sports' College Football Preview Magazine officially hitting newsstands, it’s time to honor the best of the best for the upcoming year. The SEC leads the way with 38 selections on the 2024 Athlon Sports' All-America Team with the Big Ten up next with 35. The ACC has 23 selections, the Big 12 follows with 18, and the Mountain West places eight. Ohio State (nine), Georgia (eight), and Alabama/Oregon (seven) lead the way for the most selections by team.
Whether it’s quarterback, defensive end or a spot on special teams, picking the best of the best is no easy task on the All-America or even the all-conference squads.
An important note on the All-America teams: These selections are based on how players will perform in 2024. Career statistics and previous awards matter in player evaluation, but choosing players for the 2024 All-America team and all-conference teams is largely based on predicting and projecting the upcoming year.
