Air New Zealand diverts plane to Brisbane to pick up NZ PM and business delegation
Air New Zealand is diverting an Auckland to Tokyo flight via Brisbane to pick up a business delegation.
The group was travelling with New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon when they became stranded in Papua New Guinea.

“It’s pretty complex operationally,” Air New Zealand Chief Executive Greg Foran said.
“We have some advantage in that we’ve got a fleet of 100 planes, so we can move things around.
“It’s good that we can help out.”
