Ludvig Aberg career earnings: How much money has golfer made on PGA Tour?

Is a new star emerging at the 2024 U.S. Open?

Swedish-born golfer Ludvig Aberg finished up a stellar college career just a year ago, but he's already put himself in contention at two major championships to start his professional career.

Aberg, who won his first PGA Tour event in late 2023, finished second at the Masters behind only Scottie Scheffler in April. He entered the weekend leading the U.S. Open by a stroke despite the course proving to be a major challenge even for the most experienced golfers.

Aberg's story appears to just be getting started, but he's already starting to rack up impressive finishes. Here's a look at the 24-year-old's career earnings and net worth to this point.

Ludvig Aberg career earnings

Aberg has made $10.4 million in earnings in his brief PGA Tour career.

Year Earnings
2023 $3.1 million
2024 $7.3 million
Total $10.4 million

Aberg is sixth among PGA Tour golfers in 2024 earnings with $7.3 million, ahead of major champions Collin Morikawa, Justin Thomas and Hideki Matsuyama, among others. That's pretty remarkable for a player who was still a student at Texas Tech just a year ago.

Aberg made $1.5 million when he won The RSM Classic in November, his first and only PGA Tour win, and he made $2.2 million from the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am in February before earning the same figure at the Masters.

The 2024 PGA Championship didn't produce any earnings for Aberg, as he missed the cut at Valhalla. But a top-five finish at the U.S. Open would guarantee him at least $1.2 million. A win at Pinehurst would give Aberg $3.9 million, easily the most he's made from an individual event in his career.

Ludvig Aberg net worth

It's still tough to gauge Aberg's net worth, considering his professional career started just last year. With more than $10 million in earnings and a deal with Adidas, however, his net worth is clearly rising rapidly.

A win at the U.S. Open, which would earn nearly $4 million, would be a significant addition to that total.

Aberg's history in majors is brief — but it could also be a historic if the 24-year-old can finish off a win at the U.S. Open. No golfer has won his U.S. Open debut since 1913, so Aberg has a chance to do something not seen in several generations if he can hang on at Pinehurst No. 2.

It became clear two months ago that this kind of result was at least possible for Aberg, as he finished a comfortable second at the Masters at 7 under par. While he didn't end up threatening Scheffler, who pulled away late and won by four strokes, no player who finished third or lower was even within two strokes of Aberg despite the tournament being his first career major.

Aberg has a chance to become the youngest U.S. Open winner since Jordan Spieth in 2015, and he would also be the third consecutive first-time major champion to win the U.S. Open.

With a crowded leaderboard and seasoned golfers such as DeChambeau right there alongside him, a win at Pinehurst would take a monumental effort from such an inexperienced player.
