Met Office Saturday morning weather forecast 15/06/2024

Hello, good morning. Prepare for some rain today, hope for some sunshine. There will be some brighter spells out there, but they'll also be a lot of showers to watch out for. First thing, the best of the sunshine will be through the central belt parts of central and eastern England as well, faring well. But either way, we've got a lot of cloud developing through the morning and spells of showers or longer outbreaks of rain at times, all circulating around an area of low pressure centered across northern parts of the country. The showers where they do occur could be lively with thunderstorms and hail, particularly across northern England, Northern Ireland, Northern Ireland, southern Scotland. And there'll be some gusty winds, particularly towards the southwest of England, the far north of Scotland here, some more prolonged outbreaks of rain at times. But having said all that, there'll also be some well broken cloud and some sunshine coming through where we'll get some shelter from the wind and some sunny spells away from the showers. 1718 Celsius possible, but we've got the frequent downpours, 13 or 14 Celsius at best. Later Saturday. Many of the inland showers tend to fade gradually. As the sun goes down but in the north of Scotland, some more prolonged outbreaks of rain turn up and they tend to sink their way southwards as the night goes on, perhaps reaching Northern Ireland, the far north of England by dawn. A few showers remain elsewhere, but also some clear spells and where we get clear spells overnight temperatures dipping into the single figures where we've got the cloud remaining, 11:50 Celsius low pressure stays with us on Sunday across parts of northern UK. It is filling and so the weather becoming perhaps. Less unsettled but still plenty of rain or showers to talk about on Sunday morning. The main focus for the showers and longer spells of rain. Northern Ireland, southern Scotland, northern England first thing Sunday. By the afternoon shower clouds will build elsewhere. Perhaps more prolonged rain feeding into the northwest of Scotland once again. The showers across England and Wales tending to become more scattered into the afternoon. A better chance, more long lived sunshine I'd say, coming through way from the showers, particularly through parts of Wales, the Midlands, East Anglia for example. And where that happens with some lighter winds around, feeling a bit more pleasant, 1890, perhaps 20 Celsius, those temperatures slowly nudging back up towards. A cold start to June, but obviously we've got the cloud, the gusty winds and the showers. It's not going to feel very pleasant at all through the weekend. It's certainly a case through the weekend of following the rain as it develops on the Met Office app. That's the best way to follow it because these showers will be very hit and miss. There will be some drier includes and of course for next week's weather will keep you updated. Right here on our YouTube channel.
