Travel agency shuttered over jobs in Poland

The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) on Friday shut down a travel agency in Bulacan for illegally recruiting Filipino workers for fraudulent jobs in Europe in exchange for large fees.

The DMW said its Migrant Workers Office in Prague, which exercises jurisdiction over Poland, launched an investigation and found that High Dreamer Travel and Tours Services located in Malolos, Bulacan, was offering overseas jobs to unsuspecting Filipinos through Facebook.

The DMW called on those who fell victim to High Dreamer’s illegal activities to contact the Migrant Workers Protection Bureau for the filing of cases against the travel agency.
